Getting toddlers a trampoline is the perfect way to occupy them for hours and get them to burn off all that extra energy. Not all trampolines are right for toddlers as they lack the safety features necessary to protect them from harm, like a handle or two. The best toddler trampolines with handles should also offer plenty of cushioning and support.
Each toddler trampoline on our list promises to offer an exciting yet safe experience to the little ones. The extra support in our top picks allows children to remain within the bounce area at all times. Moreover, our recommendations are of great quality, have sturdy frames, and add something new to the table.
We’ve put a lot of time and effort into researching all the toddler specific trampolines out there to spot only the best products. Here are our top picks for the best toddler trampolines with handle:
8. JumpSport iBounce 2 Kids Trampoline
The JumpSport iBounce 2 is an award-winning indoor trampoline for toddlers and kids up to 6 years old with tons of energy to get out. It comes with an interactive educational DVD featuring RompyRoo, the Kangaroo. The trampoline is well made, strong, and can withstand plenty of jumping and an up to 75 lb load despite its springless design.
Using the JumpSport iBounce 2 is an ideal way of getting out your little angels’ extra energy during winter months or rainy days. What’s more, the design is foldable, so that you can fold the trampoline up and store it under the furniture or in other small spaces. The handlebar is detachable but we do not recommend letting small kids using the trampoline without the handle.

– It has a weight capacity of 75 lbs.
– For ages 2-6.
– Price range is medium-high.

7. Diggin HopHop Trampoline
The Diggin HopHop Trampoline is a great first trampoline for small kids to release all that energy while staying safe. The trampoline’s bounce is balanced to not put at risk the small users, while the sides and handle is padded is case of any falls. The mesh is not attached to the frame with strings so that you don’t have to worry about the strigns pinching the little ones.
This is a great trampoline for small kids. We believe that 2 years should be the age limit as many parents have confirmed that 30 lbs seems to be too much for the mesh and it might tear off with aggressive use. The handle is removable, but the height cannot be adjusted.
Specs:
– The size is 25 inches (diameter).
– It has a weight capacity of 44 lbs.
– For ages 12 month to 3.
– Price range is medium-high.

6. Pure Fun Kids Preschool Jumper
The Pure Fun Kids Preschool Jumper is a solid alternative to the Little Tikes model. It supports up to 75 lbs and can be used for children from the ages of three to seven. We found that it was more sturdier than the Little Tikes trampoline. Assembly was easy for this model as well and took around 40 minutes to set everything up.
The handlebars are a little different here. It is ergonomically inclined, so it adds another layer of safety. The inclination provides better balance, grip, and comfort. Moreover, the handles are also padded with a material that is designed to last. This will really be appreciated by parents as kids tend to rip softer material quickly. Aside from that, we like that the design is a little more playful than some of the other trampolines.
Specs:
– The size is 36 inches (diameter).
– It has a weight capacity of 75 lbs.
– For ages 3 to 7.
– Price range is low.
- Handlebar grip is very durable.
- Inclined handlebars provide more safety and comfort.
- Some customers had a difficult time assembling this trampoline.
5. Little Tikes 3′ Trampoline
The Little Tikes 3′ Trampoline is a good low-end trampoline. It supports up to 55 lbs and can be used for children from the ages of two to seven. The trampoline is easy to assemble and can be set up as quickly as 30 minutes. The jumping surface and frame was very stable and designed to be durable.
The handlebars obviously help provide balance to the kids as they play. We did find some problems like some of the fabric materials falling apart after extended use. However, other than that, it works as intended. The small size makes it so that it’s for one child only. This may not be the best toddler trampoline with handle but it’s a solid value for your money.
Specs:
– The size is 34 inches (diameter).
– It has a weight capacity of 55 lbs.
– For ages 3 to 7.
– Price range is low.
- Great value for your money.
- Stable jumping surface and solid material.
- Fabric can fall apart after extended use.
4. Bazoongi 48″ Bouncer Trampoline
The Bazoongi Bouncer Trampoline has a weight capacity of 100 lbs and is for kids three and older. It also has six legs instead of the standard four you normally find in the other trampolines. This is designed to provide extra stability. However, we found it still wasn’t as stable as we wanted it to be.
The handles for this trampoline are fully padded all the way through instead of only at the handle area. This is a nice safety feature as kids can sometimes bang themselves on the metal bars. This model isn’t the best toddler trampoline with handle yet it’s still a solid buy. Many parents will appreciate the colorful designs it comes in.
Specs:
– The size is 48 inches (diameter).
– It has a weight capacity of 100 lbs.
– For ages 3 and up.

3. JumpKing Mini Oval Trampoline with Green Pad
The JumpKing Mini oval trampoline is a springy and sturdy indoor trampoline that can be used simultaneously by two toddlers or a toddler and an older sibling or friend. Even though that jumping pad is quite large, the trampoline won’t be outgrown any time soon by your kids as it can be used by kids as old as ten without issues.
The assembly requires around 2 hours but if you have a helper you do it in one hour. Both handlebars with a height of 24″ each are detachable for easy storage. The trampoline is very bouncy and can hold up to a lot of (ab)use. So, if you have room for it, go for it! Your kids will love it.

2. SkyBound Mini Trampoline
Unlike other toddler trampolines, the Skybound Mini Trampoline for toddlers is powered by strings not elastic straps and is 40” diameter. It has a good bounce, it is sturdy, and very stable. There were no reports of tipping over. The soft materials are premium quality and so is the steel frame.
It is perfect for really active toddlers since it is well cushioned and stable enough to allow them to jump to their hearts’ content. The assembly is not as smooth as it requires an extra pair of hand to be put together. However, if you follow instructions to a tee there shouldn’t be any problems. The 22”-tall handlebar is padded and detachable and can be extended inward for little users’ maximum stability and safety. All in all, this is a stable and durable trampoline that will guarantee years of continuous fun.
Specs:
– The size is 4o inches (diameter).
– It has a weight capacity of 100 lbs.
– For ages 3-6.
– Price range is medium-high.
- Quality materials
- Generous jumping surface
- Very stable
- Not foldable
- A bit pricey

General Info on How to Assemble Trampolines
Many toddler trampolines have the frame connected. In the case that it is not, check for a secure frame and organize the frame and legs for assembly. The trampoline assembly is very straightforward if you follow the manuals. These are the important things to keep in mind:
– Check the manual to see that all parts are available.
– Look for any damage to the trampoline and check for parts that do not fit well as it can be dangerous.
– Focus on making sure the legs and the handlebars are secured very tightly.
– Test trampoline slowly after assembly to see if something is loose or if the foundation is unstable.
Conclusion
That concludes our rundown of the toddler trampolines we feel that you should consider buying. Pay attention to find the best toddler trampoline with handle in each price category. Many companies are very competitively and change their prices based on sales numbers and rotating promotions. Models with extra features and better designs may be priced near the same price point as regular trampolines due to said price fluctuations, so it helps to compare as many models as possible.

I don’t know a lot of details about the brands of kids trampolines but my preschooler absolutely loves jumping on the trampoline at her school. I did notice that the make was Pure Fun. It’s reassuring to read that it is a good quality and durable one.
Lela Foster says
Hey, Amy, glad to see our reviews are helping people gain trust in our recommended trampoline brands as well.
Jeff says
Just saying something logical. All toddler trampolines must have a handle or else they won’t stay secure where they are. If the trampoline does not have a handle, then it is not kid-friendly, especially for kids under 5 years of age, at the very least.
Lela Foster says
Hi Jeff! Allow me to disagree! A toddler trampoline can also have a net – handles are great but nets offer superior protection, imo. Thanks for stopping by!
Bee says
There is no question that Little Tikes makes the best trampolines for toddlers and little kids. I would not go with another make because it is extremely safe and durable. Not to mention, my little ones love it a lot.

Sandra Klein says
The Gymenist is the best trampoline because it provides a lot of features that others do not. And, a few kids can be jumping on it at once and it will stay secure because it is durable. The convenience of it being portable is good too.
Lela Foster says
We agree, Sandra – it’s a really good choice
